Leaf litter is the most natural ground cover you can provide for your reptiles as it allows you to closely resemble the environment tropical and rainforest species encounter in the wild. They provide natural hiding spots and break down slowly, providing important nutrients for plants and microfauna such as isopods and springtails in a bio-active vivarium.

We recommend providing your animals with a few layers deep and continue to add more leaves as they decompose and break down.

NOTE: Being a natural product, these leaves will naturally vary in size, color and shape.
